University Faculty for Life
Sixteenth Annual Conference
"Life and Learning XVI"
June 2 - 4, 2006

This year's conference is made possible by a generous grant from the Our Sunday Visitor Institute and by Ave Maria School of Law.

Life and Learning XVI is designed to enable faculty with pro-life concerns to deepen their understanding of basic life issues in their political, social, legal, historical, psychological, ethical, and religious dimensions.

University Faculty for Life is a non-denominational, multi-disciplinary organization which welcomes the membership and participation of all pro-life faculty members in institutions of higher education. In 2006 its annual conference will be held at Villanova University near Philadelphia, PA. Attendance is open to current or emeritus faculty members and their spouses, and to others by request.

The keynote speaker at the conference will be Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director, James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University.

Proposals for presentations are invited. The deadline for paper proposals, including the title and a one page outline, is April 17, 2006.

All papers can be submitted for possible publication in Life and Learning , an annual peer-reviewed selection of conference papers.

The conference will begin early on the afternoon of Friday, June 2. Registration for the conference, including a wine and cheese reception, refreshments between sessions and the concluding banquet, is $60.00. Accommodation is available at the Villanova student apartments.
